Evan joined the group in Summer 2024 as an undergraduate researcher and focused on quantitative evaluations of AI model performance and qualitative assessments of model skill for case studies of high-impact weather events. After graduating from the School with their B.S., Evan stayed in the CHAOS group to explore machine learning techniques for excessive rainfall prediction. In their free time, Evan enjoys knitting and knitwear design.
