Evan joined the group in Fall 2024 as an undergraduate research assistant and worked on developing severe weather predictions through postprocessing of global model forecasts. After obtaining an MS in Data Analytics in 2026, Evan rejoined the group as a PhD student focused on applying AI and deep learning techniques for other high-impact weather phenomena.
